Umineko When They Cry

Eighteen people, a remote island and a witch who may or may not exist. Solve the impossible murders of Rokkenjima in 07th Expansion’s mystery epic.

Umineko When They Cry takes place in October 1986 on Rokkenjima, a private island owned by the wealthy Ushiromiya family. The relatives gather for their annual family conference to fight over the inheritance of the dying patriarch Kinzo, but a typhoon traps them on the island and a series of brutal, seemingly impossible murders begins.

A letter claims the killings are the work of Beatrice, the Golden Witch said to haunt the island. Ryukishi07’s follow up to Higurashi dares you to prove the crimes were committed by a human, not magic, and it is famous for its length, its music and its fiendishly clever mysteries.
